He was born in New Carlisle, Quebec on 18 Jan 1851 (New Carlisle and Paspébiac Anglican Church, 1811-1884, M177/23, Protonotaire Bonaventure) and died in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin on 5 Feb 1934. (Obituary, Oconto Falls Herald, 8 Feb 1934) His parents were James Flowers and Margaret Thompson of New Carlisle.
